Queer There and Everywhere

by Sarah Prager

Queer There And Everywhere  is a great read to kickstart your school year! Learn all about famous people from history that you may not have known were Queer. You'll be able to share fun facts with your friends and advocate for the community knowing that LGBTQIA+ people were absolutely around in the past. This is a quick read and is also perfect for readers and non-readers alike.

Kathy is a current library science student at Louisiana State University working as one of the two teen/reference librarians at Weymouth Public Libraries. She studied elementary/special education and graduated magna cum laude from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She worked as a special educator before transitioning to her current role, which she absolutely loves! Outside of work, she volunteers as an administrator for the LGBTQIA+ publisher Hansen House and enjoys reading everything and anything. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring new places, especially if animals are involved. She lives in Weymouth with her wife, a speech therapist, and dog, a pit-bull mix. She would love to recommend new books for you to read, stop by Tufts Library!
