Here's a review of one of the many great LGBTQ+ books we have at the Weymouth Public Library. 

STRONG is an engaging, empowering picture book. Rob feels like a superhero when he lifts weights. Strongmen don't wear rainbows? Well, this one does and wins championships! 

The illustrations are bright and appealing. The title page shows Rob pulling a fire truck and the story makes great comparisons that are sure to impress.  Lift 400 pounds over his head? "That's more than 114 birthday cakes with chocolate frosting and confetti sprinkles!"

Believing in yourself no matter what is the wonderful message of this fabulous book.
